Got my first CZ pistol recently and have been to the range 3 times. The last time I went I noticed that the Chambered Round Indicator (CRI) was missing. Evidently it had come unscrewed and fallen out sometime during my previous visit. I have sent an e-mail to CZ (with pictures and my receipt) requesting an new Indicator, but I have not had a reply as yet.
I would have thought it would have been screwed in using Loctite from the factory but looking at the open hole, there is no residue visible that any Loctite was used.
I'm curious if this is a common problem with this model.
Thanks

Mine loosened up sometime back but caught it in time before it ejected itself. I guess it's useful in the dark to remind yourself if the gun is loaded but if it loosens up again, it will be replaced with a flush mounted screw.
Coming loose and flying off is an annoyance but, if something breaks and the plunger gets jammed I fear it would prevent the pistol from going fully back to battery.

I own 3 PCR's and have never had an issue with the lsi coming loose but I guess it can happen.
Your best bet is to pick up the phone and call CZ directly but they may be out till after the first of the year.

My recently brand new PCR came with a loaded chamber indicator that was not screwed in all the way. The CZ warranty advised I could return it, but i just used a screw driver and it seemed to work, so far at least.

It's well known that the model 97's need to have it loctited right out of the box but you don't really see that problem with the PCR.
