Title: C75D/PCR detail strip
Post by: Bigkracka on January 28, 2023, 11:42:30 AM
Having (http://)a hell of a time removing the sear pin, will not budge.  The left side(looking from rear if gun) has a disk that removes to gain access.  Any help would be appreciated.

I may be wrong but i believe the sear pin is part of the decocking lever and not independently removable.

The decocking lever comes out no problem.  The sear pin is separate from decocker.

First time I removed mine it was pretty tight. I was thinking I could drive the slave pin in first to keep the cage assembly complete but couldn’t get the slave pin through. Ended up just using a punch and gave it a good wack.  After the first disassembly it has been easy.

Here is a good video if you haven’t seen it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56wlZhAZI_s&t=840s

The sear pin MUST be removed from right to left with the right side being as viewed from the rear of the gun and MUST be reinstalled from left to right. Be sure you are trying to removed it this way because if you drive it out the the right side of the frame you will damage the hole on that side which is smaller to keep it in position.

Thanks gents.  I figured it out, gotta smack it with a STOUT starter punch (glad I got one from CGW) and BFH.  Was a real PITA.
