Where does one go to have a barrel changed on a Bren 2ms besides the Czech Republic? Thx dek
Should have mentioned getting a new barrel.

If you go to your original post and select "Modify" in the upper right of the frame, you can change the text of your message and even the subject line. You can add "barrel change?" to the subject. It might get more hits.

As far as buying a new different barrel for drop in change there is not a good current source I know of. However, Mos.tek can custom make a new length/caliber. Swapping a physical barrel is DIY job.

Slightly off subject here, but this points out another reason why the new ATF rule on the definition of rifles/pistols and the brace rule change is so ridiculous. One of the options to comply with the new rule change is to change to a longer barrel.
In regards to the Bren2, and probably a lot of other pistols on the list, this is for the most part a non option because of a lack of a source for replacement barrels.

Well, CZ has done a lousy job of providing spare barrels for the Bren 2, or even basic spare parts.
The other alternative is to either silver solder or pin and weld a barrel extension to the muzzle to get you past a 16” barrel length.
