I have a Vz.58 Pistol (12" barrel) and just got the tax stamp back on making it an SBR. Now I need some recommendations on folding stocks that will fit properly and use the intended screw size. I've seen some people use Magpul stocks, but I don't know if it has to be fitted or is a drop in replacement.
Thanks.

RS Regulate makes an adapter to fit the Magpul Zhukov-S stock that just bolts on, no fitting. I have one, I like it a lot.
Currently out of stock. https://rsregulate.com/product/vzsa/ (https://rsregulate.com/product/vzsa/)
Stormwerkz has a couple of bolt on adapters that use Ace stocks or Ace type folding mechanism with Ace style stocks. Gives a little more variety of stocks.

The Zhukov works and is a very convenient stock to use, but will limit irons use a bit. I care about irons, some don't. The Zhukov stock also employs a plastic folding mechanism - which can prove a bit fragile under some conditions.
If I were doing and SBR - I might get this:

You can mount the brace part first then when the form comes back, you use the stock rear. It is 1913 so the adapter is easy.

Nice. I like it.

I always wanted to get a VZ58 pistol, and run the old school factory metal folder!

I have the Fab Defense metal hinge folder (with the IMI hinge) installed on an SBR. Rugged as hell, but not super tight.

Nice. I like it.
The main advantage is not only weight but versatility. You CAN use the system as a brace or stock.
