I would like to hear here from some owners please or others that have some knowledge about this model.
1. Does anyone know how long this model/cal has been available?
2. Do you own one?
3. Will it shoot all brands of ammo without problems?
4. What if any are the negative with this rifle?
5. How is the noise? About the same as a SKS or AK?

I am also interested in this CZ rifle: I've fired a few of my friends' SKS's and really like the caliber....I have heard only positive things regarding this CZ, but a little sabre-rattling by happy owners may push me over the edge and into the "new CZ" Zone!

I bought mine for a 100-150 yard deer rifle, and handload exclusively for it. It does pretty well with factory ammo, too.
I've only fired some 30 year old Lapua ball ammo through mine, plus my handloads. This rifle will do slightly over or slightly under one inch at 100 yards, depending on the ammo. I've heard of good results with even the cheapie bulk-pack 7.62x39 military stuff, too.
Negatives? Welllll....on mine, the barrel channel was milled a bit to one side, and rubbed on the barrel. When the rifle heated up, point of impact changed a bit...not enough to not hit the target, but enough to ruin my group.
I widened the barrel channel with some sandpaper, re-sealed the wood, and Viola! No more changing point of impact.
Compact scopes are best with this rifle, big ones tend to give it a klunky feel.
I've seen these out there for at least the past few years....and have owned mine for about a year.
If you know anything at all about how triggers work, you can easily tune this trigger with a small screwdriver. Unbelievable trigger. If you don't know anything about it, a cheap adjustment by your local gunsmith is good insurance.
These are bleep fine little rifles, and prove once and for all that 7.62x39 shoots good...it's the rifles the round is chambered for that make the difference.

2-Yep.
3- Pretty much. The steel cased, Russian surplus crap that my SKS thrives on is sometimes a little stiff when closing the bolt. The laquer can be thicker on some rounds, and make it tougher. Brass cased stuff is slicker than snot on a doorknob
4- Any negatives? Not that I can think of. It aint a 300 yard deer sniping rifle, but that was NOT what it was designed for.
5- Dunno. I always shoot with ear protection on. They all seem a bit muffled that way
I love mine. Get one, it is accurate, fun, beutiful, and a great centerfire training rifle.
