Any bucks, bears or gophers?

Hi Buddy! I jsut got back from a week at Elk Camp.
Seen a few deer. Nothing large enough to shoot.
I hope someone uses a CZ rifle this season. I'll be
saving my pennies to buy 550 FS in .270.
My 527 7.62 x39 just doesn't seem very powerful.
Until then, i'll be using my trusty VZ24 in .338

A friend was being bothered by too many squirrels in her yard so I visited with my 452 17HMR.
Sunday I took four that dropped on the spot, a fifth ran on me after being hit.
Monday, after work, I took six more and found the one that ran Sunday.
Tuesday, the few that were left were hiding.
Wednesday I got another.
Final score 5 Black squirrels and 7 Grey squirrels, 12 total. Only the one ran after being tagged, the rest dropped were they stood.
Is this a great cartridge or what!

Hi CZ-75ID,
Glad to hear from you, your rifle choice is a sweet one, I just know you'll love it.

Hi there jeopardy4100,
The .17 sure got great results, the squirrels better look before getting out with you around
(chuckle, chuckle), good shooting
