Title: IWI Jericho 941 Extended Safety

Hello everyone.  I have a question that hopefully someone more experienced than I am can help with.

I have a steel-frame IWI Jericho 941 F 9mm.  I am looking for an extended safety that extends rearward to allow me to reach the safety easier.  Picture below shows an example of what I'm looking for. 

I haven't found an OEM or aftermarket extended safety for this pistol, so I was wondering if a CZ 75 or Tanfoglio Witness extended safety could be modified to fit.  I've reached out to Cajun Gun Works and Impact Machine, and both companies responded and said they have not done that before, and are not sure if it would work. 

Does anyone have experience with modifying their Jericho 941 with a CZ or Tanfoglio extended safety?

If your 941 is a more recent model, you may check out patriotdefense.com. They sell parts for CZ, Tanfoglio and Jericho. There are some differences in the safety detent style between older and newer model Jerichos. Shoot them an email, they may be able to help you out.

Let us know if you find something, I have a Israeli surplus 941f that I’d like to have an extended safety on as well.
