The current issue of Rifle Shooter has an article on the 6.8 Remington. The test rifle is a custom 527. I want one. Boy do I want one.

CZ seems to be able to see something new that it wants to introduce, then DOES IT. No 18 months to two years lead time required. I think you will see a small CZ chambered in the 6.8 fairly quickly.

What has'nt been mentioned is that the 6.8 mm. Rem. SPC is the same cartridge which the U.S. military is going to adopt under the 6.8 X 43 mm. in the newer version of rifle system. This could easily be done by CZ. I've dropped a line to my CZ rep. and pushed this to him, he'll communicate to CZ-UB. This will be a fine deer rifle, much more so than the 7,62 X 39mm.

I've been recently told that CZ had a 527 chambered in .204 Ruger at the Shot-show, could anyone confirm?
-
Fred I read on the accuratereloading forum that someone there had received an email from CZ stating that CZ will chamber the 204 Ruger Sure hope so.

I'm always surprised to see the power of Insider news which distributors are'nt even aware of but months later.
Thanks again,
Fred

I went back and checked that thread on AR. Fred, it wasn't an email, he said he talked to Jason at CZ by phone and was told the CZ 204 Ruger would be out by summer.
