Title: Bren 2 barrel kit.

I have a Bren 2 MS 16". I have a chance to pick up a barrel conversion kit for
11" barrel. Obviously form 1 is necessary.

Question I have and can't find though Google. Is the 16" bren 2 compatible with the thinner barrels? Was told they are not compatible. Before I wast the money I figured I would ask first.

Interesting…where are you getting this barrel conversion from?

I’d be interested in converting from an 11” 7.62x39 to a 16” barrel, if there’s somebody out there making them. Mos-Tek is the only one I’ve heard of, making custom barrels for the Bren 2.

I think yours is a question for the “experts” at CZ USA. I don’t know that barrel thickness is an issue, but certainly different barrel lengths use different size / diameter gas tubes, pistons, etc.

Never heard of that one. Welcome to the forum with your first post.  8) As stated, get all of your proper paperwork down first to SBR, as ATFE has zero sense of humor and prison is not fun. After that, we'd love to see how this goes!
