Have been waiting for a Dan Wesson Guardian to come into my LGS. It's been 8 weeks.  So, stopped by to inquire, again, and still no dice. So, just happened to ask if he had heard about the new Shadow 2 Compact. He just smiled at me .....and walked into the back and out it came. Just as good looking as the pics! And that Shadow 2 grip!!!! So, it would up $300 less than the Guardian; don't have to buy any more mags or stockpile .45 ammo. Just as happy as a pig in... well you know. Range day tomorrow.

Awesome find! I will be comparing my S2C to my Dan Wesson ECP 9mm as soon as I get it.

Yes, the ECP was my second choice for a 1911, but LGS couldn't get one of those.
