I was next to a guy at the range shooting a P07 ?? He was putting it in his pants and drawing from concealment . So I asked him what type of holster he had that concealed so well .
He said he doesn't use a holster with his EDC because it's a decocker . Told me he's been carrying it that way for several years . He says they have stuffed little revolvers that way for decades .

Different strokes. I've carried Mexican style many times over the years. Sometimes tucked in my waistband in the back as well. DA/SA pistols and revolvers but I would never carry that way with a striker fired pistol.

Where are you that the range allows you to draw from a holster (or lack of one as the case may be)? Most in the metro Atlanta area don't allow it.

agreed, the range i teach at is pretty easy going but no drawing from a holster during regular business hours. instructors can boom time before or after business hours for holster classes.

From what I have seen, most ranges in the DFW metro area do not allow drawing from the holster by default, but some do based on certain conditions... like you take a specific class they offer which qualifies you, and/or you sign a waiver, and/or you are law enforcement.
As far as holster-less carry, I have often carried a DA revolver in a jacket pocket with no holster, but never carried IWB without a holster. If I was inclined to carry my P-07 without a holster, I'd probably use one of the trigger-guard-only "holsters" with paracord tied to a belt loop just for peace-of-mind. I have good Kydex IWB holsters for it so it never really crossed my mind.
