Has anyone used the Henning grips for the Shadow 2 ( https://www.henningshop.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1382351&CAT=10024 )? I have large hands and I'm thinking they might help my grip.

I have a set that came on my AccuShadow 2. They have good grip and feel very similar to the checkering on the front and back strap of the shadow 2.
If you have large hands I'd recommend the Armanov Large SpidErgo Grips: https://www.armanov.com/shop/spidergo-gen2-pistol-grips-for-cz-shadow-2-sp01-ts-and-75-series-96#attr=92,94,83. There is plenty of grip and they are thicker than the LOK palm swell Bogies. They feel great in my hand and add quite a bit of girth to the grip.
I run palm swell Bogies on my TSO's and they aren't big enough. If I switch back to Limited, I might order a short set of SpidErgo's for the TSO.
Cheers,
Toby

Thanks. Those look worth checking out. According to the sizing chart, I would take a medium (190 mm from base of hand to tip of middle finger). I like the fact that they have a sizing chart. I didn't see a sizing chart for Henning and Lok, so it's more of a guessing game with those.

The hennings are thin at the top but have a small palm swell shape. They are very thin really. Nothing like Lok palm swells. The Armanov grips are very nice and have a similar grip texture to the bogies.

Anyone know where I can buy the Armanov grips other than Armanov and Cesars? I tried buying them through the Armanov website, but since Armanov is in Europe my credit card requires use of a PIN. By the time my credit card company sends me the pin, the Armanov website has timed out. >:( I need to find a US distributer if possible.

Google Armanov USA.

Armanov USA is the website I was using. The transaction is taking place in Europe.

Never had a problem with the web site, enter my CC and done. Sorry it doesn't work for you.

It doesn't look like I'll be able to purchase the Armanov grips. Does anyone have any experience with the Lok Palm Swell Brass Grips ( https://benstoegerproshop.com/cz-shadow-2-tactical-sport-ts2-palm-swell-brass-grips-by-lok-grips/ )? Does the extra weight help control recoil? Does the extra weight make strong hand/weak hand shooting more difficult? Also, I've read that the texture is very aggressive. Any thoughts on the texture would be appreciated also.

I got an email from Armanov this morning. The problem is that the EU uses double authentication so some US credit cards get rejected. I guess my credit card is one of the ones that get rejected. >:(

I bought armanov grips from this outfit in Estonia.
Very professional,no problems shipping to US.

I ended up purchasing the Lok Brass palm swell grips in Black Cerakote. I just put them on and haven't fired the gun with them yet, but just gripping the gun I like them a lot. The texture is aggressive but not punishing. The palm swell gives my support hand much more to grab onto. The brass almost makes the gun balanced. If I put my finger under the trigger guard about 1/4 inch forward of the grip the gun will balance with an unloaded magazine. With the standard grips the gun was extremely nose heavy. I'm looking forward to trying it out at the range and seeing if I can reduce my split times.

You can also contact LOK grips and have them custom-sized a grip for you.

I shot my Accushadow 2 with the Lok Brass grips for the first time yesterday. I noticed a slight improvement when using both hands but a large improvement when shooting strong hand or weak hand. I believe this is because the gun is almost balanced with the brass grips (still slightly muzzle heavy). Without the brass grips it was extremely muzzle heavy. The texture of the grips was good but did not damage my hands at all. Overall, I'm very happy with the Lok Brass grips.
