Title: CZ 527 Hornet Magazines

Has anyone successfully modified a CZ 22 Hornet Magazine to allow for seating bullets out to Just touch the lands? Normally this wouldn't be a problem but the 527 doesn't like to feed except from the magazine, and fiddling a cartridge into the chamber is difficult. Also would a 222 or 223 magazine work to modify for use on long hornet seating?
           
            I'm doing this for accuracy, generally the shorter the bullet jump to the lands the more accurate the rifle shoots. It looks like filing down the plastic spacer at the rear of the magazine and repinning it would allow for longer feeding from the magazine but then the follower would have room to float back and forth.
