Title: Brno action thread pattern???
Post by: lottsofbrnos on December 07, 2005, 02:52:55 AM
Hi all. I am new to the board.  I own a few Brno's including two in 458 Lott and my first rifle ever, a 602 in 375HH.  I have shot almost everything with my 375 from warthogs to hippo and plan to use it on a whole lot more.  I am an amature gunsmith and make all kinds of parts for my brnos including peep sights and front beads.  Currently i am rebarreling a 602   to 458 lott (the old barrel was badly machined).  I am trying to find out what the thread pattern is for the 602 action.  It's between a 13tpi and a 12tpi but a scored thread prevents an accurate measurement.  Hope you can help and I can return the favor.  I have extensive loading data for lott and 375 and am a bit of a freak in this respect.

Would it not be metric?

The pitch is Metric & nothing is even close in S.A.E.(Imperial). Simply get a metric pitch gauge available thru Brownells. This little tool will repay for itself when working on any Europeen firearm.
