Title: witness 22lr conversion kit magazine same as cz kadet?

I saw a question going the other way but it had no answers.
since the eaa mags seem to be discontinued along with the kit, has anyone tried either the plastic or metal kadet mags in a witness with the witness conversion kit?
small frame that is.
I was also contemplating modding the beretta 22lr mag since it holds 15, if I have to start from scratch.

I got a set of metal kadet mags.
they don't work.
mags will lock in, but won't feed. slide stop is no where near either, no chance for it to engage.
