Title: CZ 600 Lux scope bases.

After watching a CZ YouTube video talking about mounting bases on the Model 600 Lux I ordered a set (Rem 700) from Amazon. Got them today and first of the screws were too long and the one piece base/ring was ill fitting. Called Talley and spoke to Bradley and he told me they have a specific one piece base for the CZ 600. Brad instructed me to send in the set from Amazon and they will send me the correct bases. Moral of the story be sure any bases you order are the correct size. Always best to order directly from the manufacturer. Fortunately Talley has great customer service.

Speaking of CZ 600 Lux scope bases!  I am presently contemplating the purchase of a CZ 600 Lux in 308 and currently checking out scope bases.  CZ says the rifle is set up for Remington 700 pattern scope base.  What CZ doesn't say is what size screw to use.  Remington 700 pattern scope bases are offered in either #6-48 or #8-40 screw size.

Does anyone know which size to use?  I've emailed CZ customer service but they have not replied.

I have the CZ600 American 308 and the screw sizes are 6-48.
