I never had the luck to see them in any of the local stores. They are also out of stock in the majority of the online stores. It seems that CZ is making their handguns abundantly available but not so much for the magazines.
On the other hand, you can find magazines for SP-01 easily. They do fit P-01, but I don't like the fact that they are extending out so much.

If they are out ask to be put on the mailing list and be notified when they are back in stock

I've read, here, that Mecgar makes the magazines for CZ.
CZ adds an extra $10 or $12 to the price if the mag is stamped CZ rather than Mecgar.
-
It seems that most retailers are out of stock for this type of magazines

As of the last couple of years I have bought all of my mags at Greg Cote LLC.

I notice there are some for sale in Europe.
Are there any import restrictions sending them to the US? It seems there was a limit of $100 US worth of gun parts consumers could order from foreign countries without having to get a permit or running afoul of US Customs.
Anybody know for sure about that?
ETA
Never mind — what I was looking at turned out to be a scam site called rainierarm . ch anyway.
Besides, ordering a few gun parts from Europe requires atf / Customs permits, fees, time, federal scrutiny, yada yada blah blan blah to be done legally, even for $100 or less in parts…so hardly worth the effort.

Quick check showed some CZ 15 round Compact mags for about $43 each here:

I've bought from them before and got what I ordered.

Those look like Mec Gars sold through CZ — about double what Mec Gars usually cost from Mec Gar itself.
Supply and demand, I suppose.
Originally, the P-01 came with 14-rd magazines of unknown (to me) origin, possibly Mec Gar, with black followers. Then, few years ago, Mec Gar came out with an improved “+ 1” 15-rd mag with a blue “anti-friction” follower that seems to work appreciably better than the original 14-rd “factory” mags.
The last CZ compact I saw (2022 vintage) came out of the box with different 15-rd mags, stamped with a CZ pistol logo on front with 15 individual witness holes on the back, oddly staggered so that the #15 hole actually sits higher than the #14 hole. They have black plastic followers. I have no idea who makes these new 15-rd factory mags.

Sorry, they showed as available on my phone earlier today

I recently ordered some from Suarez international- have yet to receive them and have been unable to contact them telephonically or have they responded to my emails requesting status
Very disappointing this lack of communication
-
You have to keep an eye out for Mecgar 15 rounders. When you see them, buy them. Many places will notify you when they come in stock. You can always do a couple of 10 rounders for drills until the 15s are back.

I read recently they had a change in ownership. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Just to be done with it, I went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered a few of these “factory” 15-rd. Mags @ $43 a pop (they look like Mec Gar mfg. with the blue follower and as described).
I’m glad I ordered when I did because now they’re sold out! Now I don’t see anyone at all with CZ Compact 15-rd. mags. No telling when they’ll be back in stock anywhere.

https://www.gregcotellc.com/cart/index.php Or https://gunmagwarehouse.com. Are my fist places to find magazines.

I found a pair this morning on ebay while looking for a CZ hard case to tote the pistol of choice to the range without having to dig its box out of storage. Found a new /used SP07 case with everything but the firearm included. Paperwork, 2 magazines. looks like 2 back straps and cleaning rods. $80 shipped. I now have two spares for my shadow ll compact and the hard case I was looking for. Sometimes I can get lucky.

Got the “CZ USA” 9mm compact 15-rd mags (blue follower) from Gun Mag Warehouse today:
https://gunmagwarehouse.com/cz-75-compact-9mm-15-round-magazine.html
Comparing these mags with the bona fide blue follower Mec Gar 15-rd mags, aside from the logos on the front (MecGar / Made in Italy vs the CZ pistol logo) these mags appear to be identical in almost every way down to the way the mag tube is cut, so I’m gonna say they’re both made by Mec Gar.
The only other difference is that the “CZ USA” magazine has witness holes on the left side for up to 11 rounds marked “.40” — obviously these mags & followers are interchangeable between these two calibers.
So that also means that any MecGar / CZ P-06 11 / 12 round .40 S&W mags lying around should accommodate and feed at least 15 rounds of 9mm.
-
Another vote for Greg Cote. Great communication and service.
-
Greg Cote is my go to guy for almost all my magazine purchases.
-
Apparently CZ USA has 15-rd. Compact mags in stock now for $39 to $43.75 a pop. SKU# 11123 are “factory” (probably MecGar mfg.) mags and SKU# 11123A are assembled from parts at CZ USA, “probably” with MecGar parts. Shipping department is currently backlogged, though, due to staffing issues.

Also apparently back in stock here @ $43 a pop:

No such luck. It’s July 1 and still not available.

You sign up for the "back in stock" notification and wait. There were some recently available but they sold out in a hurry.

There are plenty of MecGar 17 rd. 75B mags in stock all over for @ $25 each. These work great in a 75 Compact, though they stick out a little, which actually makes them easier to insert and remove under stress than flush-fit mags, in addition to holding 2 or 3 more rounds than the two 14 or 15 round mags that originally came with these pistols (that is, if you live in a Free State).

I have a slew of mags for both the full size and compacts so I'm not pressed in the least. Unfortunately the Mec-Gars for the compacts are in short supply at this point and that's on them not CZ.
-
This mag shortage is frustrating. I’ve been trying to get them for months. One source said they haven’t been able to get them since Jan. I’m on wait list for several places for last couple months. I placed a standing order with a source and they keep giving me updates from Meg Gar saying one more week. I think that’s been going on for a couple months.
CZ needs to do something. One is put leverage on Meg Gar and threaten to switch suppliers. But more importantly why hasn’t CZ Parts built up a stock supply in inventory?

These supply issues are going on across the board and it's not just CZ and it's not just Mec-Gar. CZ hasn't been able to keep up with demand for their own small parts let alone what goes on at Mec-Gar. They just can't keep up with demand at this point and they can't build a supply when everything goes right out the door.
You do know you can also use the 10 round version and you can drill the dimples out on either side and the mags will then accept 15 rounds. https://gregcotellc.com/cart/cz-factory-mecgar-actmag-c-173/cz-75-compact-cz-pcr-cz-p01-cz-shadow-2-compact-springfield-p9c-dan-wesson-dwx-compact-10-rd-mecgar-mgczcomp10b-p-2048.html
The compacts will also accept the full size 75 series mags as well they just stick out further obviously. https://gregcotellc.com/cart/cz-factory-mecgar-actmag-c-173/cz-75-b-cz-75-bd-cz-85-b-cz-75-sp01-cz-shadow-2-17-rd-9mm-mgcz7517afc-p-591.html

If CZ can see into the future and know what parts will be in high demand in 12-16 months, then a reasonable question has to be why didn't Stanseven see into the future and stock up himself ?? Why is it someone else's responsibility and fault ?
-
The SKU for the 15 round Mecgar mags is MGCZCOMP15AFC. Go to https://gun.deals and enter the SKU in the search. This site rocks for guns and accessories. It will show who has the product and the shipping costs (usually)
Unfortunately nobody has them right now...but it was one search and done.
Another plus one for Greg Cote.

It’s because I just brought this CZ in January. I liked it and realized I needed more magazines then. I had no idea it would have been such a problem. I haven’t had any issues with my other CZ, Sig, or Walter’s.
-
Not just CZ. I read (on the M&P Pistol Forum) yesterday where a guy bought a new M&P, had issues with a magazine and while S&W agreed to send him a new one they also told him that they didn't have any in stock but would ship him one as soon as they got some in stock. This was for a new model they just released and they only have enough magazines to put two in the box with the new guns, no extras to sell or replace faulty mags.
I'd had to have a new concealed carry gun and not be able to buy additional magazines for it. Only two is several too short for my comfort.

Just got notification there are some available here

I use both Greg Cote and Lanbo's Armory for my CZ mag needs. Haven't had an issue with either of them. Both their mag prices and shipping prices are fair.
