Anyone ever hear of MK3 Firearms or the work they do to install a alloy sleeve to allow you to use a CZ75 slide stop on a CZ85?
If I was refinishing a firearm, I would assume that the sleeve would need to be installed AFTER refinishing?

Never heard of them.
I know some guys don't like the right side slide release. I do. Just buy a CZ75 (more of them around anyway, especially since CZ stopped making the CZ85's a few years back.)
I like the CZ85 set up enough I've converted two CZ75's to use the CZ85 slide releases. I've actually only seen one (old but in good shape) CZ85 in the last 10 years or so of gun shows in my area. Should have bought that one the first time I saw it but I already had one Pre B CZ85.

I did get this work done to my CZ85 and so far it’s working quite well.
Admins: this tread and the “CZ85 - Please help to identify” at the top opened by me can probably be merged.
Pictures: i should have wiped the smudges off, oh well

Another 50 uneventful rounds though the firearm. I'm glad I had them do the work! I couldn't be happier!
