NEAT! But, what did US troops think about it?

In actuality this doesn't represent a test.
To actually 'test' a weapons system, you need to develop operational scenarios with stressors, develop measures of effectiveness, etc., and run through the gambit of individual exercises of skill associated with use of the weapons' in enough environments to conduct an evaluation with quantified results. This looks like a 'range day' for US troops to 'try out' the Bren 2.
Even then it would be informative to know what they thought.

We used to call it "familiarization". I agree, I'd love to hear what they thought of it.

Why are they lifting their trigger finger completely off the trigger? Has the US Army stopped teaching basic rifle marksmanship? Or is it no longer thought to be important to teach the old ways that worked for decades? After about 6 min. the guys shooting weren't popping their finger off the trigger.
Lots of rounds, some in full auto, not many targets going down. Don't know if it's just missing or the target sensors aren't properly adjusted.
It sure seems to stay flat when they fire it in full auto.
