I am having trouble with my recently purchased VZ 50. After I load the magazine and I slingshot the slide, the round becomes jammed and it is very difficult to move the slide. I am using the one magazine that came with the gun and it is functioning. I have tried PPU, Fiocchi, PMC, and Herter's all FMJ and all round nose except the Herter's. The round feeds from the magazine and goes forward into the ejector point area and the slide will not move forward. I can see the round through the ejector port. I had to use a mallet to move the slide forward and back to eject the round. With the slide off the round goes easily into the barrel. The slide moves freely with any ammo in the magazine. Help is appreciated.

All of my CZ .32 ACPs only work well with Sellier & Bellot. It appears to be the length of the round. The problem is worse with anything not rounded tip. Forget about using hollow point.

Which CZ's do you have? I have a CZ 83 in 7.65mm and it has taken all ammo except PMC Bronze. Thanks

Check for crud in and around the extractor, and on the bolt face. Also check the extractor spring.

My tag line lists my CZs: Those in .32 ACP are CZ27, Vz50 and Vz70.
My CZ83 is in .380 ACP.
