Title: I'm so excited...
Post by: DeltaPapa on June 16, 2024, 03:23:18 AM
I purchased a resale 97B online and the seller could not document that Cajun Gun Works actually did the "E" Pro Package.  They (CGW) did not have record of actually doing the upgrade in house since their records only go back 2 years.  I did ship the 97B back to them for confirmation of the upgrade which they did confirm; yay!  I now have a bucket list gun.  CGW does provide great customer service.

I shot bullseye matches with my 97B"E" pistol and I prefer it over a 1911 style match gun.  I hope you enjoy yours for many years to come.

Love my polished 97BE SAO that Schmeky built for me.
It is more accurate than me.

Same here. I have mine since 2013. Gloss blue and SAO. It is by far the most accurate pistol I have ever owned. I own a lot of high end 1911's, none compare to my 97 BE from CGW!

...Gloss blue and SAO...
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the polycoat and have thought about getting it ceracoated.

Here is a bullseye practice video from 8 years ago of me shooting my 97B"E" at 25 yards, standing, single hand, bullseye style timed fire.  I cleaned a few 25 yard targets in practice with the pistol before I retired from bullseye to shoot it and others at 100-200 yards.  It is a fantastic pistol
