bleep, just when I was about to buy the 2.

That's awesome! I had to start looking around and they just released the website and two marketing videos.
EDIT: I see it gained over a pound of weight though. That's the one down side.

Well, who knows when that’ll get here…or not. And whether it’s gonna be the greatest thing since sliced bread…or not. Or whether a civilian model will be up to snuff compared to the military’s or just some bastardized ersatz version like the Bren 2Ms. I’ve learned the hard way lately from CZ to take a good long wait & see approach.
The immediate concern is how the Bren 3 is going to impact parts availability for the Bren 2, which is already abysmal. Let’s hope CZ doesn’t pull a Sig and cease all parts production for discontinued models. There seems to be some parts overlap between the Bren 2 & 3, but not a whole lot. How are Bren 805 owners finding parts these days?

I’m a glass half full kind of guy.
Hopefully we see pistols soon and rifles as soon as they can get setup.
Or maybe I can dream big and they get made at Colt.

i JUST got my BREN 2, and they go and make this...always a day late and a dollar short I am. 8)
It looks very cool, we will wait to see if a civilian legal version comes into the US anytime soon or not, or will they all go to Czech military and Ukraine.

I wouldn't worry about it. Your Bren 2 is probably over a pound lighter than the equivalent Bren 3 and is an excellent platform.

Ain't it though? ;D
