I got some comments on my YT channel regarding my bad two handed grip. I agreed but have excuses. So I went to the range Tuesday to try shooting the little subcompact at 100 yards using a single hand grip only, similar to bullseye except seated and the magazine base resting on a block. I just wanted to see if the two handed grip added much when shooting from a rest anyway.
I spent nearly a decade shooting bullseye matches so I am used to shooting single hand standing out to 50 yards, but I've been shooting two handed for the last 5 years or so, so I was a little rusty. First 10 shots were a little right so I held on the left edge of the bull for the second ten. But the group must moved to the left side of the bullseye, right on the aim point. So, for the next two targets, I went back to a center hold, without changing the zero from where it was two weeks ago when I was shooting two handed. That was the right decision. Groups were centered using a center hold. The last target was pretty good, especially the last 10 shots for the day, with 7 of the 10 in a good 4-1/2" group.

I think it just took a few rounds for me to settle in to my old bullseye shooting single hand mode. By the time I left, I was very happy with the result. I'll go back with the 1911 and 97B"E" next, I think. But the little 3.5" CZ subcompact is a very accurate pistol, when the shooter is in good shape mentally and physically.
