Title: Did CZ ever fix the weak firing pin retaining pin?
Post by: liv4spd on November 24, 2024, 09:28:29 PM
The firing pin retaining pin has been a weak point on the P-01. I wonder if CZ has fixed it yet? If they did, from which year?

Doesn't cajun gun works and cz custom make an upgraded replacement?

The pin was an issue on ALL CZ's for a couple years. They are no longer as big a worry now. Cajun Gun Works does make a very good replacement if you are worried. Keep in mind you should ALWAYS use a snap cap when dry firing a CZ and many here use an o-ring under the hammer for protection.

Many thanks for the information.

I can see through the pin hole. Does that mean my pin is still good? My pin is kind of stuck. I was trying to install some kind of racking assist onto the slide using super glue, and some glue probably went to the pin area. I tried to punch it off multiple times, and the pin refused to budge.

Anyone knows how to dissolve the super glue? If I apply heat, will I damage the paint?

Acetone will dissolve super glue.
