Title: Original DW Revolver Compared To CZ DW Revolver
Post by: cdb1097 on December 06, 2024, 09:24:49 PM
I have 6 of the Original DW revolvers, and the CZ one is nowhere near the quality of the Original DW Revolvers

And so what? This is a broad statement with no facts or substance to back it up. Clarify.

I’m impressed with the quality and functionality of my DW715 revolver, I sold a smith 65-2 because the DW out classed it in every way.  I'm not sorry I bought my 715, I wish I could shoot it more.  If I needed a new revolver, I’d buy another DW if they were still made.

I had an original Dan Wesson revolver that had the cylinder stop pressed into the left side plate.  After about 10 or 12 full house 357s the nub would work it's way in and bind the trigger.  That was first revolver I ever had that failed to fire.  I sent it down the road. (with full disclosure to the new owner)

Kinda reminds me of the guys who talk about the 68 Camaro they had that ran "in the 10s" for the quarter mile (in the 1970s).  Memories aren't always facts.
