From the "Just when you thought it couldn't get worse" department...
It may be time to take advantage of the numerous after Christmas bullet and loaded ammo sales going on right now. And buy in bulk. China has recently banned export of Antimony to the USA.
Antimony is the major alloying agent for hardening lead. Less Antimony on the market will most probably force the price of alloyed lead (and thus bullets) to get more expensive within the very near future.

I just ordered another batch from RMR and I have a fair stock of casting lead as well if I need it. This will drive the price of scrap lead up as well for those of us who can cast our own slugs.
The chicoms know what they are doing. Dirty little devils they are. These days I go out of my way to avoid chicom products whenever possible. I even scour the web and buy nos auto parts to avoid the junk they sell.
