Title: Compact 75 - Light Strikes
Post by: lamelogin on May 10, 2025, 02:24:33 PM

I purchased a new CZ75 Compact and installed a CGW Pro Kit myself (w/ Blue Hammer Spring).  Out of the first 50 rounds, I had maybe 5 light strikes where a 2nd trigger pull was required to fire off the primer.  At this point I think I should just dry fire and rack the heck out of the gun wear in together naturally, right?  Or should I be doing some polishing?

My well used S2 did not have any issues with the ammo during the same session.

It's not the gun it's the blue 13lb hammer spring. I had light strikes with the last couple kits I installed with that spring and there was another member here in the last year or so with the same issue. I moved up to the 15lb gold spring and had no more light strikes.

Interesting observation, thank you!

Good excuse to get some more goodies from CGW!

Yep!  That's me.  Same issue with a Cajun installed Pro Package on my P-01.  You can find my thread to see more details, but I sent it back to them and though they rechecked their installation and things were all to spec, but they decided to send it back to me with the 15# spring and I haven't had any issues since.
