12-gauge CZ Sharptail Coach Gun for my new hobby.

Now it has to go get a bunch of gunsmithing on it to work right for Cowboy Action Shooting, a sport even geezers can enjoy!

Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! 8) Congratulations and may it serve you well! :)
I had something similar quite awhile ago and loved it! :) Got ripped when I sold it. :-[

Sounds like when I shoot my friend's Marlin 45-70 with brass butt plate; next day my shoulder looks like the gay pride flag.

Sharptail v. Hammer decisions, decisions. So darn cool looking!
-
Actually, that was the easy decision - I didn't want to have to remember to cock the hammers, and the hammerless coach guns are legal under SASS rules, like my El Cheapo Stoeger I am using right now. It's so cheap it has synthetic furniture, but since it is the correct shape, it's legal.

Joe, we use light loads, and only birdshot. For instance, my SASS black powder brass hull load is 35 grains of Olde Eynsford 3F under 1 oz of #8, as opposed to a field load of 80 grains with the same 1 oz of shot. That thumps.

Well, adding to my CZ Shadow 2's, I joined the SBS club today with my own CZ Hammer Coach! ..When I got home with my new toy, Mgmt. asked... "where ya gonna hang it"? Well, a cold compress brought me to, and luckily my head hit the couch cushion when I passed out as I was certainly not expecting such a positive greeting!!! Don't envision shooting it much, but may hang it under the fireplace mantle (only on special occasions for when the guys come over) cuz it's so dang cool looking!.

Ain't it, though? Mine is going out to Ken Griner to get some custom Cowboy gunsmithing on it, which will take quite a while...but when it comes back it'll be slicker than grease on a door knob! I was going to send it today...but there seems to be this really cool national holiday...
