This is how I did it on my 75 classic YMMV.
1 Remove safety, part 29
2 remove sear block, part 10
3 remove hammer,part 16
4 remove part 17 from hammer and store in a safe place.
Voila your CZ is now SA to remove the slack in the trigger do this.
Knock out pin 6 note how the trigger spring orientates be carefull it will jump out.
Drill and tap a hole in the trigger flat below the pivot pin measure carefully to get it in the right place some trial and error is called for here.Loctite a grub screw into the hole.
To adjust overtravel drill and tap a hole into the curved part of the trigger so a grubscrew in it will contact the frame.
You cannot limit the overtravel to much without reworking the hammer as the sear will not clear the half cock notch.
Of course if you do this and bugger your gun up its not my baby.

Thanks for the instructions - I wouldn't try it myself, but I figure a smith could get it done quite easily.
How much of a difference there in the trigger after getting rid of the DA?
I read on TFL about a replacement trigger by Josef Dlask, apparently a retired CZ engineer. It converts the trigger to SA and apparently also gets rid of creep.
Anyone try it out?

I have my trigger down to 3.5 lbs now and will be going for 2.5 soon

This is a great topic! I like the Champion hammer, trigger and sear in the 75SA, but would rather
a standard 75 trigger.
In my soon to arrive 97B..this conversion might prove to be the pudding
