I recently bought a CZ Slavia 625 air rifle for my son, and upon shooting it, I noticed that the trigger was on the heavy and gritty side... not at all conducive for teaching a youth how to shoot properly.
Will the feel of the trigger improve after it has been shot much, or this there some other way of smoothening out the trigger?
I was leaning more towards the Slavia 630 with its adjustable trigger pull, but it was too big for my purpose.

Beware from what I've heard: most of the grit feeling is mostly due to m.f.o. . You should dismantle rifle and remove metalic dust in piston area & trigger-group are. Relube these with appropriate lub and voila. If born with 2 left hands like me bring it to the local smith.

Thank you for the quick response. Ummm, I think I'll see what local gunsmith can do first... he probably knows more about the CZ's internals than I do
