I sent an email to Haken asking about some grips and received an email back informing me that due to personal family reasons he was no longer producing grips. Can this be true? Is everything alright with Haken?

Hi CD,
Unfortunatelly, due to the mentioned reasons I'm away from my shop. Things are on hold right now. I'm hoping this is only a temporary and I'm working on fixing the issues.
Thanks for your interest and concerns sir.
Regards,
Hakan.

Hakan,
As you well know I am praying for all things to turn out well for you and your family matters. May they be resolved satisfacorily even if that means no more grips;. I hope too that grips will be in the future for all of us. With many blessings,
Dave in LB

Good news from Hakan! Hakan is back in Norway after a three-month vacation and he is totally reinvigorated. He is now catching up on inquires and taking new orders for his custom grips. As Hakans friend, I have confidence in his work and I wish him well. Regards, Richard

Hi folks,
It's been a while since I've visited you all. Some may have heard about the reasons of my absence. Things are going better for us now. I just have to be better in balancing the work with the family affairs....seems like that's the only condition and I'm doing my best to keep my end of the deal.
I'm sorry for the late response though. Still trying to jumpstart the grip work. I've been taking orders, but I need to stock up on certain woods still. Thanks to ppl in the community for their help with the issue.
Kev, David, Jo, Richard and Mr. Camp; Nice talking to you all on the phone while I was in the US and thank you all for the invitations.I'm sorry I couldn't visit you guys, hopefully sometime in the future.
Also, if you're reading this Brent, thanks for opening your house to me my friend.
Regards,
Hakan.
