I'd like to take a minute to comment on Hakan Peks manners as a craftsman and as a business man. From the first moment you contact him until the job is completed, he is there for you 100%. Ask him anything you want. He has all the answers for you and makes the process so simple that you will wonder why you didn't contact him sooner to get those grips you've been dreaming of. Several months ago, I was admiring some "Mother of Pearl Grips" that were handcrafted in Turkey. Hakan was offering some for sale on his site. Well, I hesitated and when I contacted Mr Pek, with hopes that he still had some, he informed me that they were all sold out and that he would contact me if any more became available. Well, I figured I'd forget about them because I would probably never hear from him again....WRONG...when Hakan got out of the Hospital, he told me there was a package waiting for him at home and guess what was in the package?....Right..."The Mother of Pearl Grips" This Hakan guy somehow works MAJIC! Hakan also made me some Cocobolo grips. When I contacted him, I requested some Cocobolo that didn't have such a regular straight grain....he fired me back a pic of some sample wood that filled the bill perfectly. I'm telling you, Hakan goes the extra mile and then some. Oh, rest assured your grips will arrive in pristine condition. They arrive sandwiched in a bubbled envelope and mounted on corrugated cardboard, all the way from Norway! And one more thing, forget about the photos that his wonderful camera takes of your finished grips, as they simply do not do them justice (even though the photos are very beautiful). When you open the package, you will be astounded at the Craftsmanship and attention to detail in a one of a kind Masterpiece! Hakan, you are the BEST ! Look for a pic of the Cocobolo grips on the 75 Compact to come. The "Mother of Pearl Grips" are on my CZ 75 Silver Anniversay, and I just can't get a good picture of a nickle plated gun. I believe Hakan has a pic of the grips on the Silver Anniversary. Very beautiful combination in my opinion. Thanks again Hakan! David

Dave...man, I'm literally speachless in replying to your fine words in your post.I really appreciate them...they've been a great moral boost for me my friend.
Thanks a million!
Regards,
Hakan.
P.S. Thanks for the great picture also.I'll soon add it to my website. Looking forward to see the MOP grips on your gun too
P.S.S Thank you Mr.and Mrs. armoredman.

Anytime my friend. Anytime you need a boost come here and will hopefully make you smile.
Be good to yourself,
Jo aka Mrs. Armoredman

Hakan, there is no "stretching" of the truth here - your work speaks for itself. I still get comments at the gun locker at work, admiring looks from jealous Glock owners, (they can't use Hakans, poor kids....), and questions from others, who get your cards!
I wish I had one quarter of such a talent!
-
<DROOL on>
They are sweet! So, are Hakans the the kind that if you have to ask how much it is, you can't afford it? Just curious.

Now that's a Texas style barbeque pistol right there! Nice!
Actually, Hakan's grips are a lot more affordable than you might think - sometimes you get far more than you pay for! Ask him what he can do for you, but give him some time to recover from this current health issue.
I guarentee you won't be disappointed.

Thanks Armoredman. As a matter of fact the Bar BQ is Today..Country Ribs and A heap o' fixin's....I've also had Arizona BBQ and must say it is wonderful stuff, especially with the Green Chilis...MMMMMMmmmm... A new camera is in the works too, as this entry level one just can't do justice to nickle guns and fine detailed grips such as the "Mother Of Pearl". A lot of detail is missing from this pic... oh well some other day I guess. To those that ask, Hakan's prices are very reasonable. I consider ninety bucks for the MOP a real steal. I would estimate that most of Hakan's grips are in the 75-80 dollar range. Some more and some less, depending on your preferences.

Whew!
Hakan is truly a master craftsman! Too bad the smooth Black Palm grips were sold - Man they're special! My PCR is still wearing the striped grips. The holsters are by another master craftsman - Kevin Manley of K&D Holsters.

New pics...same great grips!

Here is my first (and certainly not last) set of Hakans. Basic oak on a black polycoat. Fit, finish, and feel is absolutely stunning.

Congrats on the camera Dave.
I hope y'all don't mind me posting a BHP grips

Is the finish antiqued, or is that a dummy gun? Nice grips. sir!
-
Thanks
I just fine sanded the original blued finish off of it. It's a full price paid real gun which had been turned into a dummy gun in order for me to own it... a result of dumb gun control rules here
Check it out Dave
