I finally did it and got some of those great custom grips. Just to be different, here they are in Thuja wood. They are as good as everyone says, and give my P01 a whole new look. Thanks for the great work and service, Hakan!

Those new Hakans look great! Very good choice of wood, they set off your P01 nicely.
I have a set of Cocobolo Hakans on my P01 and I think they look pretty good too.
Thank you for sharing the picture.

Those grips are absolutely georgeous. We have seen other posts on this and other boards, touting Mr. Hakan. This Hakan gentleman does beautiful work.
How long was your wait to get these??
We trudge on (interested).

Guys--- those grips look really awesome. Quick question: do they have the same palm swell contour that the factory rubber grips have? IMHO, that contour is what makes the gun so special. I'd get a set of Hakans ONLY if that palm swell was duplicated in his grips.

How much?
-
Matt, he can make them with just about any contour you want. I got the grips for my PCR with the original contour as well.
Syclone, Mine cost $80 shipped. I'd guess cost depends on what style grip you order and what wood is used.

How long did they take to arrive after the order was placed?

I got mine a little more than 2 months after I ordered them. Hakan is pretty backlogged right now. They're definitely worth the wait though.

Those are some of the coolest grips I have ever seen.
Hakan - very nice job, where do you get Thuja wood?
-
Those look great. Nice work as always Hakan.

Nick,
Thanks for posting a picture and for your compliments..they're greatly appreciated
Folks,
I'm pretty much backlogged now but,I'd sincerely recommend you to e mail me to be placed in the line now rather then to check with me later to find a longer list(if interested in a set of course)
Contours on grips are totally up to you to decide..If it isn't requested any particular thicknes,I make them similar to the factory thickness and contours.Prices differ depending on the wood type and addition of designs(personalizing,dragon,shadow..etc.)
I located this Thuja Burl in Canada last time but, the wood is originally from North Africa...Morocco to be exact.
Here is a link to a brief history on the Thujawood:

Thanks to everyone for their kind and encouraging comments.

Hakan.
