I've just ordered the above gun from Angus with bells, whistles and a magwell. I'm gonna use in both IDPA ESP (mainly) and USPSA L-10.
Questions: does it fit in the box with magwell?
Which fast enough holster would you use which is IDPA legal?
Would you share loads (minor and major) with Rainier bullets?
Thanks,
Julio

Nice choice Julio and congrats.
Question for you. Are you having the firing pin block removed? I've noticed a lot of others are having that done for a better action for your trigger job. I curious, though, if that makes the pistol against IDPA rules.

I need to talk to Angus. Do not know whether he's doing it or not. I assumed he was gonna do it.
Good question though, but I do not think it will matter on ESP. Will check it out.

Only curious as I believe in the IDPA rules no safeties are to be disabled.
-
Found answer in IDPA Rulebook Appendix A. It's illegal as the rules state that no safeties are to be disabled in any handgun.
-
Well it is not clear that you will be illegal for ESP as CZ offers the SA without the FPB as a factory (or at least CZ USA) option.
-
Does that mean you could order a CZ 75 SA .40 S&W or for that matter an SP-01 without the firing pin block?
-
It could be ordered through the CZ Custom shop that way..
-
Now would that be like the CZ 85 Combat where there is no hole for the firing pin block or would that just be a vacant hole where the FPB would be but that it came from the custom shop makes the pistol comply with IDPA rules.

it is a vacant hole..but it would come from the CZ Custom shop..much like ordering a gun from the Smith Performance Center.. or the Colt Custom shop..
