hello. i have a cz26 my grandfather brought back from Germany during his tour in WWll. i know that it is a transition piece between the 25 and 27. i need to know what caliber it is and if i can find a magazine for it. any info is helpful, thank you.

You have a CZ 24 date stamped 1926 in .380 caliber. Does it have unit markings on the grip? The unusual thing about these pistols is the delayed recoil provided by the rotating barrel. This is one of the few pistols in .380 to have this feature (the colt mustang being another) and it makes for very soft recoil.

i don't know if it still has any other markings. my grandfather had it nickle plated, one side of the grip has his initials on it and the other has his Army units insignia.
