Title: Pricing guide for older model CZ pistols
Post by: kellzey on February 06, 2005, 10:22:38 PM
Went to a gun show over the weekend.

Came across a supposedly "unfired" CZ 27.  Looked overall in really nice condition.

There was a small scratch on the part of the barrel exposed through the ejector port (not sure of the correct terminology).  The scratch appeared to be recent as there was no rust evident.

I had no idea what I was really looking at (since I am new to pistols in general) and I've never seen a CZ27 before.

I have no idea on how to determine dates of manufacture, etc.

He was asking $295.00.  It included a very old looking box and one magazine.

Would this have been a good deal?  (I realize that there are many pieces of info missing).

How do I get started on knowing what to look for in older CZ handguns?

Thanks!

Sounds like a pretty good price. You might go to

There's a picture still up I think.
