My perfect RAMI would be:
RAM-P BD polymer frame with stainless steel slide/controls
and the new TRU-DOT night sights, nestled in my
High Noon paddle or forthcoming HN holster in black horsehide:)
I don't have preference for the Decocker, just think that a BD model would
be more marketable to a wider array of perspective RAMI buyers.
I appreciate your comments and any further pics. Enjoy!:

Umm sweeeeeeeet. Sign me up on the wish list. I do want one. In 9mm of course. WOW that is one nice looking pistol.

For me, they have already made the PERFECT RAMI...On Tuesday, I picked up my new CZ 2075D RAMI with factory night sights. It's perfect to me because, I don't want stainless parts and pieces (don't like tu-tone guns) and no plastic for me either, and all my other CZ's are decocker guns.
As an aside, I notice in various posts and other places that people refer to the RAMI like the regular 75 as a BD, and even on the box label that CZ-USA puts on the box, it shows BD. However, on the left side of the gun's slide , it is clearly stamped "CZ 2075D RAMI". So, I guess, for us to be correct, we should start calling it a RAMI D.

Answer me this question. Have any of you bought a gun that you dreamed of having for a long long time. When you picked it up it fit you perfectly? It felt like the designer of the gun had a mold of your hand right there to fit it just for you?
I did. When I saw the 2075 Rami 9mm I knew it was the right gun for me. It was so perfect it was scarey. It shot so smoothly it was exciteing. So, yes I have been there and done that.

I have the Rami P in the two tone and it rides in a custom holster from Eric @ HBE. Buds Guns has them for about $420 shipped.
-
Yes, I also like the stainless model.
People have been urging me to stay away from a RAMI in.40, even though I wanted to try out the
.357 SIG barrel that I recently purchased from a forum member.
I'll eventually get a .357 SIG but it won't be a CZ.

A RAMI newbie here - is there any functional difference between the RAMI and the RAMI P. I thought I was purchasing the basic 9mm RAMI and when I returned to complete payment and sign the paperwork (read FFL transfer), I realized it was a RAMI P. the CZ website does not making any distinguishing references other than polymer frame and being about $50 cheaper.
-
Yes, Polymer frame and no grip panels. The factory specs say one ounce lighter.
$59 less than the comparable RAMI with the alloy frame.

If you carry the gun against your skin, the body oils and sweat will affect the metal but not the plastic.
Yes, it'll be in a holster but not all of it. I've had where the metal was starting to get pitted from the chemical reaction from the above mentioned oils and sweat with the metal of the gun.

RAMI 2075 P, 9mm. Will get to the range this weekend for break in. I have zero experience with CZ, but took a chance because the gun fit my hand perfectly, light weight, and 14 +1.

Some renewed interest in the RAMI, and esp. the RAMI P.
A few guys have contacted me in the last week and are on the hunt for one.
My RAMI P and some other pages have been updated.
Pic of the 2011 catalogs, too!
