Everybody is jumping on the concealed carry bandwagon. It's an interesting little handgun, though.
Thanks,

Very nice! Has a Gas delayed blowback system and in .380 ACP.
There are a lot of new small pistols entering the market, as Fred has said.
I'm looking at the new Taurus PT709.
It's not a CZ Clone, hence the move to this sub-forum.

I handled one at the shop last week. It's...different. I didn't fall in love with it, but I didn't dislike it either. It's certainly beefier than, say, a Kel tec P3AT. The one I looked at was market at $500 so you're going to pay for it.

It's a copy of an old Czech design, imported as the Kevin, years ago.

I always joke.
Even though I named the P-01 for CZ (by their request)
they couldn't call it the KEVIN, as there was already a CZ
pistol by that name:)
Also, since KEVIN means Champion in CZech.
CZUB also produces the Champion pistol for IPSC
and other competition.
So, the new Micro Eagle is a CZ copy. Just not a lot is know about it.
Looks both expensive and intriguing:)

"The Micro Desert Eagle is a 6+1, DAO .380 acp pistol that uses a unique gas-assist blowback action. It features a 2.22 inch hammer forged barrel, with an overall length of 4.52 inches and a height of 3.71 inches. With a weight of less than 14 ounces, fixed sights and a snag free design, it should find a comfortable niche in the increasingly popular pocket pistol market. SRP: $535.00."
This was in the January, 2009, issue of SHOT Business magazine, page 54.
Hope this helps.

Why won't CZ make a "legal" U.S. pocket pistol???? They've got Dan Wesson's manufacturing facility, so having U.S. based construction shouldn't be a problem. We want a CZ 92 sized up for the .380 or maybe 9 x 18!!
