I bought my cz 75b in august, and already its got little dings and scratches all over it. I haven't been using it rough either. This is my favorite gun that I own, and so far i love everything about it, except the finish seems to be a little subpar. I would like to refinish it before it gets even more dings and stuff on it. What would be the best, and cheapest, way to do this? Duracoat?

Best and cheapest usually don't go hand and hand.
Is this a polycoat gun? I've actually found that the polycoat shirks abuse fairly well. I personally wouldn't put much faith in Duracoat being stronger in that regard than factory, and it's not THAT much cheaper than something like Hard Chrome (when factoring in shipping costs and such), which is pretty much the standard for hard firearms finishes.

I'm having the same problem with my compact. I've only had it for about 6 months and it is already showing a little wear in high spots. The left side of the slide has a bare spot from rubbing on my pants while in a pancake holster, and I've only carried it 2 or 3 times.
I plan on having mine hard chromed.
