Hello,
I'm brand new to this forum. I just got rid of my Glock 17 and picked up a full size pistol that actually fits my hand- the SP-01. Don't get me wrong, I loved my Glock- very accurate and reliable; it just never quite fit my hand. I haven't shot the SP-01 yet, but I hope it is as accurate and reliable as my G-17.
What do I need to know about this pistol? Should I change out my recoil spring before I bring it to the range for the first time? Any ideas on IWB holsters?
Your thought would be greatly appreciated

I wouldn't change anything until you have a chance to shoot it. I have the SP-01 Shadow and I had to have the ejector re-cut because of ejection problems. So if that is something that you encounter you might check that. After I had that done I haven't had any problems whatsoever and I freaking love this gun. I shoot it it USPSA matches and it hasn't failed me in about 500 rounds now.

Welcome to the club; I agree--do nothing until you've had a chance to put a bunch down the pipe. Mine seems perfect to me; new wood grips and she's lookin even better now

I agree that you should not do anything to your SP-01 till you have run 300 to 500 rounds through it. My SP-01 only gets better the more I shoot it. At a later date you can fine tune it. Welcome to the forum and good shooting.
