Title: Soon to be owner of a TS 9mm, w/some questions...
Post by: exan on May 01, 2009, 10:40:42 AM
This will be my first all steel pistol, I'm a Glock guy for the past 3 years. My first question is, does the guide rod is made of stainless steel or platic? And where can I purchase an extra guide rod or springs? And what are the holster options for the TS if I plan to carry it? I prefer a paddle type holster or a kydex IWB, and who make it? And lastly, what are the best cleaning products for the aluminum frame and internal parts of this pistol? Any inputs will be great, thanks!

I don't see any recoil springs for the TS at czcutom.com, only for CZ75, Shadow and SP-01. By the way what is the weight of the stock recoil spring of the TS? Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, are you planning on carrying the TS daily or only for competitions?  I am sure you already know it is a VERY heavy pistol.

dgspurge...
It's basically for range use only, and occassionaly I might carry it once a week only, as I always have my G19 as my daily CCW. Have you changed your plastic guide rod yet? I was looking in to Bedairs and the one at czcustom.
