May '09 Guns & Ammo review says the P-07 comes with 3-dot adjustable rear sight AND a fixed sight as well. Anyone get the adjustable one? Is a call to CZ-USA in order?
Just asking...

Nope, I got the painted "U" shaped rear sight with mine. ???

The CZ-USA website only lists the P-07 as coming with a fixed site. I know the article said it comes with both.

The Guns and Ammo story is wrong. The P-07 comes with just the fixed sights, unfortunately.
The G&A P-07 was probably a pre-production version, and the author probably shouldn't have reported what he wasn't sure of. I'd guess the reason that the G&A gun had adjustable sights is because of the ATF's points system for imported handguns. CZ-USA may have thought they needed to include adjustable sights to get enough importation points. Obviously, they came up with enough points without them.

The sight you are talking about is the LPA TPU, it was going to be fitted but it shot high "a lot"
It would require a higher front sight
TPU can be used as replacment but you will nee a higher front sight.

Thanks, Angus, for the info. I'm finding that even though I've made some dispairaging remarks about my P-07, and even said I probably wouldn't buy another CZ, I'm seriously considering an SP-01. After two range sessions with the 07, I've come away impressed with how well in feeds, fires and ejects. I also really like the feel of the gun.
I've found a 01 that seems to be a great price ($699) and I think it's a Shadow and 40 S & W....I'll go back and make sure today, since I had so little time yesterday and didn't take the time to find out exactly what I was holding.
I see that you sell a custom, modified model and am curious if I should get this stock gun and do, or let you do, the mods that make sense to me or just get the custom from you. I really don't care about DA, but want an SA trigger that will remind me of the 1911's I own.
Thanks...
