I've an EAA Witness - P .45 that has a problem with the hinge pin for the trigger drifting out when used. I am wondering if anyone else has seen this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, both of my 9mm's have the same problem.
I just staked it with a pin punch and all is well now.

Thanks, I will give that a go. I like the Witness, and it's my only .45, but it's clear that fit and finish just are not to par with my other CZs.

If that does not cure this problem, just get a new Roll Pin of the appropriate size and replace it. Just use the shanks of a Drill Bit Set to determine the right size. A Real Hardware Store and/or Industrial Supply will have them. Install with the appropriate sized Roll Pin Punch.

Thank you for the advice. I will look in to that the next time I shoot it. I like the .45 and I really like that it has the same feel and operation as my CZs. I've just been drifting the pin back in each time I take it out. I will try staking it first to see if that will solve the issue.
