Title: RAMI 45 ACP??

Think there's a chance we might see a RAMI in 45ACP similar to the Glock 30SF?

I'd buy one today if it were available.

Never say never, but they haven't had to produce any .40 cal Rami's in a couple of years. They are scheduled to produce some in a couple of months. You are more likely to see the Rami BD in .40 before the Rami .45. Mike at CZ said he had several prototype .40 BD's on his workbench and since the Rami frames are identical all you need to do is swap slides and mags. My .40 slide fits and cycles on my 9mm BD frame using the BD's slidestop. I haven't fired the BD frame as a .40 yet.  Mike

No one that I know sells only the slide. When I went to pick up my new PCR, manofsteel69 had a used .40 that I thought I needed too.

I'd really like to see CZ expand to .45 ACP on a lot of their handguns.  There would be a lot of interest in say a P-07 in .45 or a .45 Stainless Steel 75...we can dream I guess.

The 45 ACP is about .050" larger in diameter but operates at considerably less pressure than the 40 S&W or 9x19.  45 ACP = 21,000psi max;  40 S&W = 32,633psi max; 9 x 19 - 34,084.  I'm not an engineer, don't even play one on T.V., but it seems to me the RAMI should easily serve as a platform for the 45 ACP given that it handles the 40 S&W & 9 x 19 just fine ???

Seems like the 40 S&W slide should accommodate a 45 ACP barrel.  All that's left is to change the extractor & modify the grip frame....heck, I'd even accept a poly frame if I had to!  The mold should not be too expensive.  Wonder how many would have to be pre-ordered to get CZ on board?

Well, we got that solved pretty quick...........what next?;D

I'd scoop a RAMI in .45 up in a heartbeat as would many die hard para fans since most folks don't like spending around $800 for a carry gun that you have to put over 1000 rounds through to be reliable!

CZ played around with the RAMI in .45 GAP a few years ago.
Lack of ammo in the CZR was a huge obstacle for them.
