Some older but nice pics of my 75SS with CZ-USA tuned action, Tru-Dot nites, and CT laser grips.

The gun shot as good or better than it looked!
I should also mention that it had a Steve Bedair
stainless guide rod, giving it a muzzle heavy feel
and stellar accuracy.

And mine! After this picture was taken I had an Angus/CZCustom Shop install a polished competition hammer:

Otto where did you get those grips? They are outstanding!

Bob

Bob, I picked them up on an online auction. They're handmade in Turkey and are Turkish walnut, inlaid brass wire, and inlaid chips of mother-of-pearl. I've had the grips for at least 4 years just waiting for the right CZ and the polished SS 75 was the one!

Those grips are Angus Hobdell grips. I got them at CRAFM in Montreal, Quebec
(Canada). But they are more popular in the U.S. I'm sure. They are nice but a bit pricey.
I like 'em a lot.
Try czcustom or

Some of these seem shiny and some seem brushed matte. Which way does it come from the factory? For those who got the angus trigger job, how much extra did they charge to polish the comp hammer to match?
Pete
-
Howdy Pete! AFAIK all new SS 75's come polished and with the extended beavertail. When I asked CZCustom to polish my comp hammer they did not charge extra, but I wouldn't bet on it now. I guess it was a bit of a b*tch to do. Since there is no finish on it, I've got to keep it lubed to prevent rusting. Here's a pic of the polished comp hammer:

Mine is a 2008 model with out the extended beavertail. It has the high polish on it.
Now that I have a few thousand rounds through it I am getting the trigger tuned.

A lot of gunsmiths will tell you to break-in the pistol before you consider doing a trigger/action job. I took a different tact & had Mike Eagleshield of CZ-USA work his magic from the get-go. It really only takes a mag or two to determine what needs to be addressed. The work was performed on my stainless CZ-75B & while he had the gun, a set of Tru-Dot Meprolights were installed. That pistol has the sweetest action of ANY handgun that I've ever owned & it's now my everyday carry piece. Absolutely 100% reliable with any ammo that I've tried & believe me ...it's a tackdriver. The trigger is better than a COLT Custom Shop Ultimate Stainless Python in both S/A & D/A & that's quite the tribute. The gun is ubersmooth; there is NO sear creep whatsoever, the trigger breaks clean & crisp w/o any rollover. The pull is so light that you'd almost figure on getting light primer strikes, but this isn't the case at all... not even close. It's one of those pieces that become keeper status; you'd never consider parting with it for any reason.
CZ-USA is only a few miles from my house & it was a pleasure to meet Mike & the crew there. Shirley Goodwin is a peach & squared everything away PDQ. I couldn't ask for better Customer Service. ;D

It's not a great picture, but my 75 is a great gun. This is 100 rounds of 9mm at 25 feet.

John, I just bought this SS75b and ordered these grips today. Cant beleive I found your picture ... Iam sure mine will look exact.
One question.... In your pic it looks like some of the stainless is matte SS is it? or is that just he camera angle?
If it is two finishes ... is the dull part bead blasted?
thanks for your help
Pete

It's all the same, mirror finish. It's very hard to photograph. It either looks too shiny with a lot of glare, or it looks satiny.
My pics are the best I could do.
You are going to really like yours!

My stainless 75B.
It's my IPSC Production Division competition gun. The latest mod is swapping the trigger for a non-recurved version.

Noice SS, I totally agree they shoot better than they look specially when I installed a standard SP01 shadow rear tactical and front fiber optic sights. I really miss my sharpshooter 75B.
By the way, you don't mind displaying the serial number of your gun? I can think of many ways why not.

Although I'm not very 'afraid', I guess it doesn't hurt hiding the serial number.

Here is a picture of my polished stainless CZ75B with a pair of Marschal red walnut grips on it. Sorry about the quality of the photograph. It is so shiny it is hard to get a good photo of it.

I've only had it a month and have put 125 rounds through it.
It is a tack driver.
But I need / want some trigger work. ;D
Any suggestions? ???

I just purchased polished SS CZ. I never cared about wooden grips, but those are something else. What wood are they made out of and where can I get those.
That color against polished SS is just hot!
