A nice 4 day weekend, son at school, what's a fellow to do in the cool crisp morning hours?
Go shooting, whatever else did you think? :D
So off I went to the local range, STILL a nice free well maintained setup. Most of the time was occupied with testing new loads of the 124gr 9mm Golden Sabre bullets I had aquired, but the end was reserved for the vz-58. I ran short of time well before I ran short of ammunition, (had to pick up the Thanksgiving feast prior to 10 of the clock.), but I did see the rifle still works perfectly.
Only fly in the ointment - I left my shooting stool at home, so all shots were fired standing. The EOTech was once again very easy to use.
I must say, who knew the UN flag was such an excellent aiming point?

By the way, I wasn't shooting low, I was shooting high, had the target mounted upside down, completely by accident, I assure you.
As I was running short on time, I stuffed a magazine full, and tried rapid fire, standing, (two shots a second or so), at 50 yards, at a standard B-27 target. The five taped ones were the last of a batch of reloads I wanted to get rid of. I don't post perfect targets, as I am not the worlds greatest shot, but I can rest assured, if I am viciously attacked by a bunch of B-27 targets at 50 yards, I am well protected. ;D

The new stock once again stayed on firm, never budged. I think this one is a good one!
This rifle is ALWAYS fun to shoot!

Your blue target is OUTSTANDING! Got to get me a bunch of them! Is it something I could download from the net? Matbe superimpose a bullseye on it?

Just a picture of a UN flag I Googled, downloaded, and printed...

Googled....printed....some small orange stickers and I will be good to go.

Check out www.targetz.com for free, downloadable targets. The do not use an excessive amount of ink to print.
I counted over 200 different targets. They have bullseyes, grids, gallery type, game and the always popular Saddam and Bin Laudin targets.
They are mostly 8 1/2" x 11" targets but do have multi-part targets that print out on 16 sheets of paper that you put together for a full size target. I use spray adhesive to glue the 16 peices to a piece of cardboard. Works great and the price is right.

Thanks Bldg!

I love using printable targets, the B-27 was almost an accident, as the local pawn shop sometimes has a few in stock.
