Title: Flash Suppressor, Take A Look!
Post by: Tacman on November 28, 2009, 11:25:47 PM
I just got this in from Dlask Arms, "XB1 Flash Suppressor" . Looks amazing, dont know how it performs yet, need to take it to the range soon and find out.
Anyone have any experience with flash suppressors?

Wow, that's huge, makes it look like a 12 gauge! How does it work in low light?

That is not really a flash suppressor. What it does is direct all the blast and concussion forward of the shooter instead of the sides. It is the same method that the AK Krinkov uses for the short barrel rifles. Looks neat on the VZ 58 though. How does it feel and shoot?

O i c, yea I thought it was a flash suppressor for some reason.
Anyways , I took it to the range today and the sound blast was propelled all forward instead of spreading out to the sides, it helps quite a bit actually, made the shot crackle all the way down the field... ( some other people were shooting 7.62x39 ) but mine with the XB1 equipped sounded alot different . All I can say is that it helps in making the other shooters on your side more comfortable and be able to bear with the noise.

It did not decrease the muzzle rise though.

But it does look great on the gun.
