Title: Well Heeled.
Post by: nwcp on December 06, 2009, 10:51:49 PM
The old expression of 'well heeled' once meant a man was carrying a firearm of some substance. I can honestly say that after owning the VZ58 for close to a year now I have a sense of what they meant. The rifle is so well balanced, reliable and battle accurate that it truly creates a feeling of confidence knowing you have it available if ever needed. The more I fire it the more I trust it. There are other weapons that work, but not many that work as well. It's the best purchase I've made in years. Nothing fancy, just downright a downright excellent rifle.

I bought mine about 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. My friends have AKs but they all love to shoot my VZ 58. When I shoot their AKs weather its Russian,Chinese or Romanian it gives me no pleasure what so ever. The quality is so poor and no accuracy. The only rifle that even comes close to the VZ 58 quality would be a SVD Dragunov since it had a milled receiver but good luck getting one its about 10K
