Title: Online Source for Firearm Manual PDF files
Post by: jwc007 on December 12, 2009, 12:46:12 AM
Have a Firearm you need a hard-to-get Manual for?  Or just would rather not wait for Snail Mail to get one?

You may be able to get it here:  http://www.stevespages.com/page7b.htm

To use this site you will need some version of the Adobe Reader program or equivalent.

Thanks for that address, very useful. I now have a manual for my Model 4. Tempted to print the Browning Trombon manual but I'll practise my rusty French another time.

Must have changed to .com ::) was an older site I used to use and no longer has a link associated with it. Thanks for the correction.

Steves pages is a great site, but please use discretion. Some time ago a few people started downloading manuals en mass to sell hard copies so the site was shut down for awhile. I'm very glad it came back online but lets do our best to keep it there.

Thanks

I'm not associated with the site but I do use it from time to time.

That could explain why S&W lawyer ordered him to remove their manuals.

Too bad neither of them have a manual for the Vz52 rifle...

The best place to start for many CZ weapons, is the CZ USA Website, under support and downloads.

If you want hard copy, just print the most important pages and carry them with you when you go to the range.

Don't know, as access to these files was not previously password protected before.
I'll look into it, as time permits.

Now a paid site so you have to contact the new owner as Steve passed away a while ago. If you need a single I can get it for you.

Thanks, but I'll pass.

Perhaps the sticky needs updating.

I think there is now a charge.... I remember signing up earlier this year after I found I couldn't get access.   I don't remember how much it was, but I do remember it was very reasonable ($10?  $12) and you just can't get some of this data elsewhere.
