Title: Custom shadow sights
Post by: Simonsay on July 01, 2010, 05:06:35 PM
After some shooting with the new to me custom shadow, I've decided the front sight is still a little too wide for me.  I'd also like to go to a serrated black and ditch the FO, but I don't see anything from Angus other than a black blank.   Any suggestions? Mine measures .120 wide and I'd prefer .10  and I'm guessing it's the 6.5mm tall.  I wish someone would come  along wanting to swap.

I am sure there are many SP01 owners out there willing to swap the front and back with you.

How do you like your custom by the way? I am considering picking one up. Does it include any of the stock pre-modification parts?

they dont include any of the stock parts due to it being a production pistol. He produces this pistol. I like the sights but i haven't gotten any real shooting done with my shadow custom.

Post a thread in CZ Clasifieds for WTS/WTT front fiber optic and rear target sight. I expect some one to take you up on your offer.

Guys I'm only wanting to swap the front.  And only if it's .1 or narrower.

I really like the Custom Shadow so far.  The front sight just doesn't have enough daylight around it for me.  I've been shooting a .09 front and 1.1 rear on my 1911 for several years.  I'd prefer the rear notch to be a little wider on it too, but it's acceptable.

Your best bet is to call http://czcustom.com/ (http://czcustom.com/) and explain what you are looking for. I am sure they could find something to your liking. There is a chance that they have more parts than listed on their site.
